Courtesy Pay Overdraft Opt-In

We need your permission.

Courtesy Pay Overdraft Service* allows us to authorize your transaction (up to $1,500, after subtracting the fee amount**) beyond your available funds so your transaction goes through without interruption. This means your purchase is honored at the register, the ATM dispenses your cash, and your check or electronic payment is paid.

As part of our standard Courtesy Pay overdraft practices, we will authorize and pay overdrafts for checks and automatic bill payments. However, federal government regulations require that we obtain your permission prior to providing overdraft service for:

  • ATM transactions
  • Everyday debit card transactions

Without your permission, everyday debit/ATM transactions that overdraw your account will be declined.

If you want First Florida Credit Union to authorize and pay overdrafts on your ATM and/or everyday debit card transactions, complete the Courtesy Pay Overdraft Service Opt-In Form.

Four Ways to Opt-In:

*This service is offered at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee we will permit you to overdraw your account without limits. However, we’re unable to offer this service to you without your permission. You can give us permission by opting in for the service.

**Our standard overdraft practices – $32 for each time we pay an overdraft. There is no limit on the total fees we can charge you for overdrawing your account.

The amount of any overdrafts plus our Non-Sufficient Funds and/or Courtesy Pay Charge(s) is due and payable upon demand.
