First Florida Credit Union Lobbies Resume Operations June 8
On June 8, 2020, all First Florida Credit Union branch lobbies will transition back to normal operations closely following county, state, and federal guidelines and safety precautions. Social distancing will be practiced at all branches:
- Floor markers and plexiglass barriers have been installed to assist members and staff in maintaining a healthy and safe environment.
- Hand sanitizers and tissues are available at all stations.
- The branches are cleaned thoroughly daily.
Although not required, First Florida asks that members please wear masks when visiting their lobbies. Please note that county ordinances in Miami-Dade and Broward require that masks be worn in all public spaces.
Although teller transactions can be completed in the lobbies, First Florida recommends that members continue to use the drive-thru lanes at branches with drive-thru access when possible. First Florida will continue to handle expanded transactions at the drive thrus.
Modifications and Limitations
Based on the size of the branch, First Florida may need to limit the number of members permitted in the lobby at any one time to maintain social distancing. When visiting a branch for other than a routine teller transaction, First Florida suggests that members make appointments to ensure quick access to the lobby. Visit FirstFlorida.org/appointment for information.
Special Safety Protocols at State and Local Government Buildings
First Florida branches such as Doral, Raiford, and Turlington are located inside a state or local government building and require members to comply with safety protocols that apply to everyone.
Please note that access to the Turlington Branch in Tallahassee is limited to those employees who work at the Turlington Building.
Before visiting a branch located inside a government building, First Florida recommends that members call the branch for details.
- Doral (305) 716-8383
- Raiford (904) 369-6800
- Turlington (850) 402-5881
